Travel to Israel and Palestine- Update

Due to the ongoing military escalation between Israel and Iran, including active airstrikes and retaliatory drone attacks, all travel to Israel and Palestine should be deferred until further notice. Airspace over Israel and Ben Gurion Airport remain closed at this time. The U.S. Department of State has raised the Travel Advisory for Israel and Palestine to a Travelers already in the region should shelter in place, avoid military or government sites, and follow . Travel Ban Update

The U.S. government has announced a new travel ban, effective June 9, 2025, restricting entry for citizens of 12 countries: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen citing national security concerns. Partial restrictions will also apply to travelers from seven additional countries: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela. Sign up for timely security alerts by enrolling the U.S. Department of State  (STEP) and confirm travel plans before proceeding to the airport. On-site, avoid large public gatherings and prominent tourist or religious sites. Monitor local news and remain vigilant for any signs of trouble or unrest.
